The Barton Quandary????
The Barton Quandary could relate to any idea. If the cards fall into the right place many good things could happen. But possibly and highly likely the cards will fall in a way that could leave a sour taste in your mouth. Its taking that calculated risk when everything in your head is screaming at you to "Run now and dont look back". Its either the silly decision or having the vision to see past negative consquences. Its a condition of perspective, sort of............ I think ... lol
You may ask "Why The Barton Quandary?"
I gave all my uncertainties this moniker when my football/soccer team was looking to sign a young talented yet very troubled player Joey Barton. Trouble with the authorities, the law and team mates but this didnt stop my club Newcastle paying millions for him. People might call it the Suaréz Quandary in modern times BUT Suaréz is a risk I'd take in football. And that is probably a debatable point right there!!
For the many of you not into sport/football/soccer let me put this into a music context.
INXS a highly successful Aussie band, with possibly one of the most charismatic front men for a long time came into the Barton Quandary scheme of thinking when Michael Hutchence unfortunately had his own BQ moment. When he contemplated loosening the belt or whatever he was using in his autoerotique asphyxiation journey. Sadly that untimely ending led to an even more concerning Quandary, should INXS replace Michael H. with a reality TV show winner. You get my point now. I hope!
For USA readers. Ill just mention George and Babara Bush and leave it at that.....
All actions start off with some element of cause and effect thought attached. That includes all the upcoming posts in this little space on the internet. Its up to the reader to decide if lots or little contemplation has gone into my decisions. Soooooo "The Barton Quandary" in its infancy is a blog about stuff, music, events, thoughts and then more stuff. Depending on which way those cards mentioned at the beginning of this post fall, will depend on what type of life is breathed into its pages.
